ECORBIT Water Achieves ‘Laboratory of Excellence’ Rating in 2023 International Proficiency Testing

ECORBIT Water announced on the 6th that 21 of its laboratories have participated in the 2023 International Proficiency Testing and achieved the highest certification level, "Laboratory of Excellence."
As the leading company in Korea’s public water treatment outsourcing market (based on treatment capacity), ECORBIT Water operates approximately 750 environmental infrastructure facilities nationwide.
The International Proficiency Testing is a highly reputable global certification program conducted by the Environmental Resource Associates (ERA) in the U.S.. It evaluates the accuracy and reliability of analytical data produced by laboratories worldwide.
Among ECORBIT Water’s 50 laboratories, 21 participated in this year’s evaluation, achieving top ratings in five key water quality parameters:
✅ Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD)
✅ Total Organic Carbon (TOC)
✅ Suspended Solids (SS)
✅ Total Nitrogen (T-N)
✅ Total Phosphorus (T-P)
The company aims to have all 50 laboratories participate in the International Proficiency Testing and achieve the highest rating by 2025.
To further enhance data reliability and accuracy, ECORBIT Water operates an internal quality management verification system for all its laboratories. Additionally, the company implements reward programs for outstanding labs, fosters expert training in analytical testing, and provides ongoing consulting support.
