ECORBIT Unveils ‘SSuDam 2.0’ – An Integrated Medical Waste Collection Solution

Korea’s leading environmental company, ECORBIT, announced on the 5th that it has developed ‘SSuDam 2.0’, an integrated medical waste collection and transportation.
Last April, ECORBIT introduced SSuDam 1.0, an information provision solution that improves the efficiency of waste collection and transportation work, and selected new functions necessary for real users through about a year of testing.
SSuDam 2.0 added several functions that improve the convenience of customers and managers. From waste inventory management to billing and sales management, it can monitor control functions such as route tracking of currently operating collection and transportation vehicles in real time by utilizing functions linked to the company ERP.
ECORBIT plans to commercialize SSuDam 2.0 in earnest within the first half of this year. This is expected to improve the convenience of medical waste collection and transportation companies and disposal sites.
In addition, it plans to gradually introduce artificial intelligence (AI) technology to the dispatch algorithm to automatically dispatch new disposal sites to the optimal course, thereby enhancing efficiency. Starting with commercialization within the medical waste industry, it plans to gradually expand to the waste market and lead the digital innovation of the waste processing and transportation market.
An ECORBIT official said, "We developed Tsudam 2.0 to provide transparent waste disposal information to waste disposal sites externally and to increase the efficiency of collection and transportation work internally to present more advanced environmental services." They added, "We will continue to improve the function and build a pipeline connecting the disposal site-transporter-manager (company) to provide an integrated waste solution that encompasses not only medical waste but also other waste collection and transportation."
