The construction and cement industries are representative industries that generate a large amount of waste. The total amount of domestic construction waste, including waste concrete, increased by 7.1% in one year from 80.9 million tons in 2019 to 86.44 million tons in 2020. As of 2020, construction wastes such as waste concrete accounted for 44.2% of the domestic waste generated (195.46 million tons). This is the reason why environmental pressure is growing stronger in the construction and cement industry amid the spread of ESG management. Construction and cement companies, which produced huge amounts of waste and showed weakness in environmental management, are looking for a way out by directly entering the waste treatment business. It aims to transform from a waste-generating company to a waste-disposing company.
