ECORBIT Water Donates 20 Million Won to Reconstruct the Burnt Yeongdeok Market

 


- ECORBIT Water, a water treatment subsidiary of ECORBIT, a comprehensive environmental company, delivers donations to restore the traditional market ahead of the holiday.

 

- ECORBIT Water, which has been commissioned and operated as a sewage treatment plant in Yeongdeok for 20 years, has donated for local win-win.

 

 

ECORBIT Water announced on the 18th that it has donated 20 million won to rebuild the fire-damaged Yeongdeok market. 

 

ECORBIT Water is a subsidiary of ECORBIT, the largest comprehensive environmental company in Korea, 
and operates more than 700 environmental-related workplaces nationwide, including a sewage treatment plant in Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

 

The donation delivery ceremony was held at Yeongdeok County Office at 10 a.m. on the 17th, and Yeongdeok County Governor Kim Kwang-yeol and ECORBIT Water CEO Kim In-seok attended. 


The donation delivered on this day will be used to rebuild and restore Yeongdeok Market facilities.

 

"ECORBIT Water has been operating sewage treatment plants and incineration plants in Yeongdeok-gun for 20 years and has been living with residents," an ECORBIT Water official said. "


We decided to donate hoping that the market will be restored quickly and help Yeongdeok residents' convenient lives."

 

Meanwhile, Yeongdeok Market has not been restored since the fire broke out in September 21st, and has been operated in a temporary building in a nearby vacant lot.


 At the time of the fire, a total of 48 stores were burned down and 30 stores were damaged, resulting in property damage worth about 6.8 billion won.
