ECORBIT Water donates 10 million won to a flood recovery fund to Gunwi-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do

 

 

 

- Donated funds to Gunwi County, which suffered flood damage from Typhoon Kanun in August.

- ECORBIT Water, which operates 750 business sites nationwide, delivered donations to typhoon-damaged areas for regional coexistence.

ECORBIT Water announced on the 19th that donated 10 million won in flood relief funds to Gunwi-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, which was declared a special disaster area due to heavy damage from Typhoon ‘Kanun’ last August.

 

ECORBIT Water is the No. 1 company in the public sewage treatment private consignment market (based on treatment volume) and has been consigned and operating a number of public water treatment facilities in the area, including the Gunwi Public Sewage Treatment Facility, for 11 years since 2012.

 

The donation delivery ceremony was held at the Gunwi County Office and was attended by ECORBIT Water CEO Kim In-seok and County Governor Kim Jin-yeol.

 

The funds delivered this time will be used to restore facilities damaged by the typhoon and support flood victims.

 

Meanwhile, ECORBIT Water is a water treatment subsidiary of ECORBIT, a comprehensive environmental company, and operates about 750 basic environmental facility facilities nationwide, including the Gunwi sewage treatment facility in the region.

 

In addition to this donation to the flood recovery fund, we are carrying out customized social contribution activities in the region, such as supporting flood recovery in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, supporting the reconstruction of Yeongdeok Market damaged by fire, and sponsoring local sports teams.

 

ECORBIT Water CEO Kim In-Seok said, “ECORBIT Water hopes that this donation will help the residents of Gunwi County who suffered damage from the typhoon recover in their daily lives.”
