ECORBIT, a comprehensive environmental company, unveiled three iconic characters created through an in-house character contest on the 20th.
There are three types in total: Cobi, representing the incineration sector, Pury, representing the water treatment sector, and Egg, representing the landfill sector.
ECORBIT created the character to familiarize the public with comprehensive environmental industries, including waste treatment and water treatment, which are essential for daily life.
All three types of characters were created with ideas provided by in-house employees.
‘Cobi’, the ECORBIT Energy character representing the incineration business, is a resource recycling warrior who takes the lead in creating a virtuous cycle by converting waste into energy.
The ECORBIT water character ‘Pury’, which represents the water treatment business, symbolizes cleanly purified, pure water.
The ECORBIT Green character ‘Egg’, which represents the landfill project, is short for ECORBIT Green and symbolizes seeds that germinate in safe and healthy soil.
Each character can be met through ECORBIT’s official SNS channels and website.
The main character that covers all of ECORBIT's business divisions is scheduled to be announced in the second half of this year and can be confirmed through ECORBIT's official channel and website.
An ECORBIT official said, “We are looking forward to the performance of characters created within the company to increase understanding of each sector of the environmental industry, which is essential for a sustainable future.”
“In order to establish the ESG sustainable management policy that ECORBIT is prioritizing, we plan to actively use the characters to promote ESG strategies that coexist with both regions and companies under the ESG slogan ‘Together for the happiness’.” He explained.
Meanwhile, ECORBIT is a comprehensive environmental company that leads the domestic environmental market, ranking first in the landfill, and in the medical waste incineration, as well as, in the public sewage treatment market (based on treatment volume).
In addition to this character release, various campaigns are being carried out to increase understanding of the environmental industry and promote solidarity among executives and employees.
