ECORBIT received the highest grade in ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) financial certification from two domestic credit rating agencies. ECORBIT announced on the 26th that it had acquired GL1 and G1, the highest grades among ESG financial certifications, from Korea Credit Rating and Nice Credit Rating, two major ESG financial certification institutions in Korea on the 25th.
ECORBIT is a joint venture between TY Holdings (Taeyoung Group) and KKR, a global private equity fund (PEF). It was created by the merger of TSK Corporation and ESG (Eco Solution Group), and is engaged in waste-related business. ESG finance certification is an evaluation that judges ESG suitability for a project to which ESG procurement funds are invested.
