ECORBIT WATER signed an MOU with Hankyung University to develop big data water treatment technology

 

- Development of technology to improve water treatment efficiency by analyzing big data of sewage treatment plant operation and water quality data

 

- Related education and internships will also be conducted to foster future environmental talents

ECORBIT WATER announced on the 30th that it signed an industry-academic cooperation MOU with Hankyung National University on the 29th to analyze big data and develop technologies necessary for the operation of water treatment facilities. 


ECORBIT WATER is a water treatment subsidiary of ECORBIT, the largest comprehensive environmental company in Korea, and operates about 700 water treatment businesses in Korea.


 

ECORBIT WATER and Hankyung University predict future inflow water quality through analysis of inflow water quality data from

▲ Analysis and optimization of the correlation between sewage treatment plant operational factors and treatment efficiency
▲ It promised exchange and mutual support for the development of big data utilization technologies in environmental infrastructure, such as evaluating the contribution of each influencing factor to sewage treatment quality.

 
The signing ceremony was held at the conference room of the ECORBIT WATER building in Munjeong-dong, Seoul, and was attended by key officials from both sides, including Kim In-seok, CEO of ECORBIT WATER, and Lee Won-hee, President of Hankyung University.

 

 
"We will further strengthen our competitiveness in the environmental industry market by securing water treatment big data technology through this agreement," said Kim In-seok, CEO of ECORBIT WATER. 
"We will also provide employment-related support for students, including internships and field training, as a leading company in the industry."
