- ECORBIT Water, which implements local win-win by performing social contributions tailored to local communities and residents.

 

ECORBIT Water announced on the 24th that it donated 20 million won with a joint company that operates the Ochang Public Waste Treatment Facility to support heating costs for the vulnerable in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do on the 23rd.
ECORBIT Water has been commissioned and operated Ochang Public Waste Water Treatment Facility in Cheongju, Chungbuk for 13 years since 2010.

 

The donation delivery ceremony was held at Cheongju City Hall.
Park Chan-gil, director of the welfare bureau in Cheongju City, Kim In-seok, CEO of ECORBIT Water, Min Kang-sik, CEO of Cheongsu Technology Environment, and CEO of the Korea Environmental Technology Relief Agency attended the event.
ECORBIT provided 9.6 million won, and the joint company Cheongsu Technology Environment and Korea Environment Technology provided 7 million won and 3.4 million won, respectively, to raise 20 million won in donations.

 

The donations delivered will be used to heat 100 vulnerable households living in Cheongju through the Chungbuk Community Chest of Korea.

 

Meanwhile, ECORBIT Water is a subsidiary specializing in water treatment of ECORBIT, the largest comprehensive environmental company in Korea, and operates more than 700 environmental basic facilities nationwide.

 

In addition to this donation, it is steadily carrying out social contribution activities close to the local community, 
such as supporting the restoration of the local market affected by fire, helping workers during the busy farming season, and cleaning up the local environment.

 

"As we have businesses nationwide, we are always listening to the difficulties of local communities and residents," an ECORBIT water official said. 


"We decided to make this donation on the news that the recent sharp rise in energy prices is making it harder for the vulnerable to winter."
