ECORBIT Water donates 10 million won to support flood damage recovery in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province

 

 

 

- ECORBIT Water, a local public sewage treatment company, donated 10 million won to Cheongju City, which suffered flood damage last July.

- ECORBIT Water, which operates 750 business sites nationwide, donates flood relief funds for local coexistence.

ECORBIT Water announced on the 28th that it donated 10 million won in flood relief funds to Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, which was damaged by heavy rain last July.

 

The company is the No. 1 in the public sewage treatment private consignment market (based on treatment volume) and has been operating a public sewage treatment plant in Cheongju City for 22 years since 2001.

 

The donation ceremony was held at Cheongju City Hall on the 25th and was attended by Cheongju Mayor Lee Beom-seok, ECORBIT Water CEO Kim In-seok, Chungcheong branch manager Kim Sang-nam, and business director Lee Jeong-gyu.

 

The donation delivered this time will be used for damage recovery and support for flood victims through the Chungbuk branch of the Korean Red Cross.

 

Meanwhile, ECORBIT Water is a water treatment subsidiary of comprehensive environmental company ECORBIT and operates about 750 environmental facilities nationwide, including the Cheongju Public Sewage Treatment Facility, Ochang Wastewater Treatment Facility, and Osong 1∙2 Wastewater Treatment Facility.

 

In addition to donating funds for flood recovery in Cheongju, the company is carrying out various social contribution activities, such as supporting the reconstruction of Yeongdeok Market damaged by fire, supporting vulnerable groups in Jeonju, and sponsoring sports teams in Gimcheon.

 

ECORBIT Water CEO Kim In-seok said, “ECORBIT Water has been operating a business within Cheongju City for a long time and shared the joys and sorrows of local residents.”

 

“I hope this donation will be of help in the area and local residents who were damaged by the last flood,” he said.
